Last night at the 67th GRAMMY Awards, Mick and the boys of The Rolling Stones made GRAMMY history. How so?

Despite playing music together for more than 5 decades and despite all their hits, The Rolling Stones have only won 3 GRAMMYs. Last night, the band was nominated for Best Rock Album for their “Hackney Diamonds” album, which was actually their first original music in 18 years.

After winning the GRAMMY last night, it makes the Rolling Stones a rare two-time champion in the Best Rock Album category, something only a few other bands have ever done. The only other artist with more wins in that category is the Foo Fighters.

Unfortunately, the band wasn’t there to receive their award last night. In their place, GRAMMY-winning producer Andrew Watt stepped-in and accepted it on their behalf.
